ELIGIBILITY CRITERION for Assam Legislative Assembly posts
Educational Qualification:
1.Under Secretary: The candidate must have a graduate degree in Commerce, Science or Arts.
2.Librarian: The candidate must have a PG in Library Science from a recognised University.
3.Assistant Language Officer: The candidate must have an M.A in English or Assamese with a minimum of 60% marks.
4.Deputy Marshal: The candidate must have a graduate degree in Commerce, Science or Arts with a minimum of 55% marks.
- English Reporter Grade 2: The candidate must be a graduate in Commerce, Science or Arts from a recognised University. The candidate must also possess a Stenography Certificate from Assam ITI or any Assam Government recognised Institute.
6.Language Reporter Grade 2: The candidate must be a graduate in Commerce, Science or Arts from a recognised University. The candidate must also possess a Stenography Certificate from a Assam Government recognised University with 100 wpm in Assamese language.
7.Assistant Librarian: The candidate must be a graduate in Library Science from a recognised University.
AGE LIMIT:
1.Under Secretary: Must be between 35-43 years
2.Librarian: Must be between 40-52 years
3.Assistant Language Officer, Assistant Librarian, English Reporter Grade 2, Deputy Marshal, Stenographer, Language Reporter Grade 2: Must be between 25-38 years.
