Kerala PSC Police Constable recruitment 2021 notification is out. PSC will select candidates for the Police Constable position (Cat No: 30/2021) by a written test and a Physical Measurement Test. On selection, the candidates will be under training in the Police Training College (Thrissur) for 09 months. During the training period, candidates will entitle to a stipend which is determined by the department head. On appointment after successful completion of training, the candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years on duty and will be on the pay scale of Rs. 22200 – 48000/.

Selected candidates shall execute a bond to the effect that they will serve in the India Reserve Battalion for a period of 5 years after completion of training failing which they will have to remit an amount of Rs.50,000/. Every person appointed to Regular Wing of India Reserve Battalion shall from the date on which he joins duty
after successful completion of pre-service training, be on probation for a total period of 02 years on duty within a continuous period of 03 years.
Police Constable Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification: Candidates should have passed the SSLC/ Matriculation or it’s equivalent from any recognized board.
Age Limit: Candidates age shall be between 18 years and 29 years. Age relaxations according to government norms are applicable.
Eyesight:-
Candidates should not have Colour blindness, sightness or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye.
