Two-wheeler sales will increase by more than 10% in the festive season:
Estimated to sell 1 to 1.15 lakh more two-wheelers this year, banks are also offering special festive off on vehicle loans
In the current financial year, except July, two-wheeler sales have increased every month from April to August. 61.2% of the dealers involved in a survey by FADA, an organization of vehicle dealers, have expected two-wheeler sales to grow in double digits i.e. more than 10% in September.
Estimated to sell 1 to 1.15 lakh more two-wheelers this year
If we look at the records of the last two years, 66-67 lakh two-wheelers have been sold in the second half (July-December). In this sense, the sales figure in the second half of this year can go up to 70-75 lakhs (12%).
According to the report of rating agency Care Edge and Crisil, it has been estimated to sell 1 to 1.15 lakh more two-wheelers this year than last year. Amidst the festivals, marriages will also start from November 21. This is the reason why FADA President Manish Raj Singhania said, “Double digit growth in two-wheeler sales is expected this year as compared to the last two years.”
